About me

Children are not just like little adults. Children have their very own needs – physically, emotionally and according to their development. This is why they need medical care that is tailored precisely to their needs.
My aim is to offer children and young people medical care of the highest standard – in an atmosphere in which they feel safe, understood and taken seriously.
Through my many years of working at university hospitals in Austria and Germany and numerous training and further education courses, I was able to gain extensive experience and acquire medical skills. I use this knowledge to offer families modern, evidence-based and at the same time compassionate pediatric and adolescent medicine.
For me, however, good medicine means more than just diagnosis and treatment.
Each child is accompanied with time and patience at eye level – adapted to their age, personality and current situation. It is equally important to me to closely involve the parents, as the most important caregivers in a child’s life, and to provide them with competent support.
My aim is to ensure that children and their families feel that they are receiving the best medical care and are in good human hands.

Professional career

I worked for many years at the University Clinic for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Vienna General Hospital and Hannover Medical School. There I worked in the specialist areas of pediatric nephrology, gastroenterology and transplant medicine, as well as pediatric sonography. In addition to pediatric sonography, my particular clinical expertise is therefore in the field of kidney and urinary tract diseases, gastrointestinal diseases and high blood pressure in children and adolescents.
In addition to my clinical work, I was also scientifically active, particularly in the field of cardiovascular diseases in children. I am the author of over 30 scientific publications in international journals and have been involved in the supervision of medical students and doctoral candidates.
