Univ. Prof. Dr. Kurt Widhalm ist Professor für Kinder und Jugendheilkunde, Humangenetiker und emeritierter Leiter der Abteilung für Ernährungsmedizin der Medizinischen Universität Wien mit langjähriger Erfahrung und internationaler Reputation. Dr. Widhalm gehört auch zu den bekanntesten Kinderärzten Wiens. Er verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung und eine international anerkannte Expertise, die sämtliche Bereiche der Pädiatrie umfasst.
Er ist bekannt für sein einfühlsames, patientenorientiertes und ethisch verantwortungsvolles Arbeiten. Mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt auf Stoffwechsel, Ernährung, Übergewicht (Adipositas) und Cholesterin (u.a. familiärer Hypercholesterinämie) setzt er sich mit großer Leidenschaft dafür ein, Kinder und Jugendliche frühzeitig vor den Folgen eines ungesunden Lebensstils zu bewahren.
Prof. Widhalm nimmt sich viel Zeit für seine jungen Patient:innen und deren Familien, um eine ausführliche Beratung, individuelle Betreuung sowie rasche und fundierte Diagnosen zu gewährleisten.
