Über mich

Als Facharzt für Urologie und Andrologie begleite ich Sie durch das gesamte Spektrum der Urologie – von der jährlichen Vorsorgeuntersuchung über die Männergesundheit bis zur Familienplanung, einschließlich Vasektomie und Beschneidung (Zirkumzision).

Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Vorsorge: Die vier häufigsten urologischen Krebsarten – Prostata, Blase, Niere und Hoden – lassen sich im Rahmen einer Vorsorgeuntersuchung frühzeitig erkennen. Ebenso wichtig ist mir die Abklärung und Behandlung von Beschwerden beim Wasserlassen (Miktionsbeschwerden), sowohl medikamentös als auch – wenn nötig – operativ, etwa bei gutartiger Prostatavergrößerung.

Darüber hinaus betreue ich Fragen der Männergesundheit und Andrologie sowie Steinerkrankungen. Meine operative Expertise habe ich unter anderem am Universitätsklinikum Freiburg und an der Medizinischen Universität Wien vertieft, ergänzt durch Diplome in roboter- und laparoskopisch-assistierter Chirurgie (IRCAD / Universität Straßburg) und einen Schwerpunkt auf minimal-invasiven Verfahren.

Als Wissenschaftler mit über 80 Publikationen beschäftige ich mich zudem mit modernen Technologien in der Urologie. Mir ist eine verständliche, patientenzentrierte Betreuung wichtig – ich nehme mir Zeit und begleite Sie einfühlsam auf Ihrem Weg.

MEDINO ist eine Wahlarztordination, es besteht also kein direkter Vertrag mit den Krankenkassen. Sie bezahlen das Honorar zunächst selbst und können die Honorarnote anschließend bei Ihrer Krankenkasse einreichen. Je nach Leistung werden in der Regel rund 80 Prozent des entsprechenden Kassentarifs rückerstattet.

Die Ordination befindet sich im MEDINO Gesundheitszentrum, Auerspergstraße 6, 1010 Wien – zentral gelegen und gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar.
Benötige ich eine Überweisung?
Nein. Als Wahlarztordination benötigen Sie keine Überweisung – Sie können direkt einen Termin vereinbaren.
Was soll ich zum ersten Termin mitbringen?
Bitte bringen Sie einen Lichtbildausweis und Ihre e-card mit sowie – falls vorhanden – Vorbefunde, aktuelle Laborwerte, eine Medikamentenliste und vorhandene Bildgebung (z. B. CD von MRT/CT).
Wie läuft eine urologische Untersuchung ab?
In der Regel beginnt der Termin mit einem ausführlichen Gespräch (Anamnese), gefolgt von einer körperlichen Untersuchung und einer Ultraschalluntersuchung. Bei Bedarf werden Harn- und Blutuntersuchungen oder eine weiterführende Diagnostik ergänzt.
Werden urologische Vorsorgeuntersuchungen angeboten?
Ja. Vorsorgeuntersuchungen sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil der urologischen Betreuung und werden in der Ordination angeboten.
Bekomme ich kurzfristig einen Termin?
Als Wahlarztordination nehmen wir uns bewusst Zeit und bieten in der Regel kurze Wartezeiten sowie eine flexible Terminvergabe.

Ja, das sind besondere Schwerpunkte. Neben der Vasektomie werden auch die Beschneidung (Zirkumzision) und die Frenulotomie – die Behandlung eines verkürzten Vorhautbändchens (Frenulum) – ambulant durchgeführt. Gerne beraten wir Sie im Vorfeld ausführlich zu Ablauf und Möglichkeiten.

Ja. Zur Kinderurologie zählen unter anderem Bettnässen, die Vorhautverengung (Phimose) und der Hodenhochstand. Diese Beschwerden klären wir ab und behandeln sie kindgerecht.
